QUOTE(sleeping_awake)The cutouts in the circle are in the shape of 6's, three 6's = 666, also giving the logo a metal meaning
It is NOT a six six six logo. It is a symbol of three, much like the band's name TRI-vium. There is three out-croppings from the middle part, there's 3 pieces forming the circle around the outside, and there's 3 of the "6" looking shapes. But it is NOT a 666 logo.

That is a 666 logo.

It was just my interpretation of the logo because i saw one similar on the cover to Sepultura's Against album, I'm sorry that i stated my opinion next time I won't. I understood after reading the posts before mine that the symbol is related to the band's name TRI-vium, but I still thought that I might share my interpretation of the logo.

it's funny to see that this thread is coming again and again....
Justin should tell us the truth because he's the Manager.
So P.Romano should had help the guys with that.
but the Story about it and the meaning should be interesting to know.
Fact is that Matt does have a relation with japan...
That's why my theory about the begining of that logo is :
Trivium members were 3 at the begining (so TRI-VIUM) hmmm.
lol no forget that...or perhaps not ?! well who know...
But this link will kick your ass and blow your eyes...
Perhaps the begin of a Legend about that fuckin logo haha...

I'm sorry, I just hate when it's referred to as a 666 logo. We have had a few threads asking "why is Trivium satanic" and shit like that.

QUOTE(Lasse666)three symbol logo has any sort of meaning
This logo is also a religious symbol in "Bretagne" (I don't how you say in English) in France. It's called the Triskell. The three sides designed three divinity. It depends of the interpretation :
- the water, the earth, the fire
or
- the sky, the earth, the water
or
- Lug, Ogme and Dagda (three gods of the celtic religion)
there are other interpretations, but it's too hard to explains that in english.

I hope you've understand me, because explain the religion is kinda hard.
:?
