Trivium lyrics tattoo
September 16, 2009 1:58:01 AM UTC Post #1

So I just turned 18 and my sister and her boy friend are putting money towards me getting a tattoo and I want some trivium lyrics as they are my favorite band and the lyrics are really powerful.
I was thinking this:
"Apprehension runs down your chin
Masticate it, suck those tears in
Life's a battle, perpetual crusade
One against all, time to wield the blade"
from Torn between scylla and charybdis.
I just want to know from you guys if it's a good idea and where I should get it tattood on my body?

Does those lyrics mean something to you, or is it just something you think sounds cool?

Well I have the attitude that when something gets you down that you have to bare it and carry on.

pretty risky, especially if 10 years down the track you don't like Trivium anymore lol

I thought of getting "Spires of lightning thrown down from the gods" tattooed since I first heard those lyrics I thought they were amazing buuuuuuut, I won't be getting a tattoo for a loooooooooonnnng time so I'l see if I still like it years from now.

The only Trivium lyrics I would consider getting a tattoo of would be "Time will not heal, all of your pain"

I'd get "God won't appear, when all light dies"

Mattie, Don't lie, we already know you'll get a tattoo of Matt's head with a speech bubble containing all the lyrics to when all light dies.

I'd get:
"you feel like the broken one
over and over again...
Pick up the pieces
there is a better way.
Put yourself together."
or
"Tread the floods"

both inspire me to never give up
