Okay I'm a give my own little review:
SANCTITY 4/6
Sanctity had a lot to prove this night and they seemed more than up for it. Even though I hadn't really listened to much to their stuff(except for Beneath The Machine) I must say it was cool. I'm definately going to check out their stuff. Their live show was energetic, with lots of headbanging. They seemed quite comfortable on stage and, as far as I know the playing was spot on, as well. I really dug the vocals, they were really powerful, like what I've heard on Road To Bloodshed.
Finally: Got to love the lead guitarist's yellow and black Rhoads.
ANNIHILATOR 2,5/6
Annihilator.. Well, I've never gotten into them, even though I've been trying my best. I simply find their stuff dull and uninspiring. No need to say I was sitting down for the most part of their set. Jeff Waters is definately a great shredder, no doubt. His backing band isn't half-bad, either. I was a bit puzzled when the Explorer-toting rhytm guitarist took over Jeff's vocal duties for a large part of the show, but he was OK and I almost wet myself when he let go a really menacing growl, that could not only be heard, but also felt. I realize that's not Annihilator is about, but I couldn't stop thinking how much more aggresive/tougher they would have been with a bit of screaming thrown in for good measure. When it comes to their sound.. I think it was OK, but compared to Sanctity and Trivium it sounded thin, at least to my ears.
TRIVIUM 6/6
I'm not objctive to this, far from it. I came to see Trivium, the others were just a bonus.
Trivium kicked it off with EOTC and what a great start it was! Following the guys played Detonation and kept it going for a while, before Matt took to the mike, to tell us how metal we Norwegian's are
After some more songs Matt told us in the upper seats that we were the craziest gallery-audience they had ever seen. I believe every word as everyone were screaming their throaths out, headbanging, jumping and really going crazy. You could always hear the words being screamed by the audience. As usual, Matt told everyone to jump when 'Gunshot kicked in, but considering we had about 10 centimetres each, he told us to be careful not to fall. Nobody gave a fuck and jumped. I saw Matt look up on us in awe and he stuttered in sheer amazement "Whoa, fuck!"
Matt, Corey's, Paolo's and Travis' playing can only be described in one word: Flawless. Their tone, power and sound was stunning. Not too loud, but still loud as fuck. The guys were active and their stage show was great. I was really happy that Corey did the screamy parts of the ETI and Ascendancy songs, as I greatly preferred those with screaming, as opposed to without screaming. His scream has improved loads, it's almost like Matt's now.
If I already weren't, I'm definately a life-time fan now!
For those interested, this is the songs they played(not in the right order, though, as I can't remember it):
ETI: Requiem, Ember To Inferno.
Ascendancy: Rain, Pull Harder, Drowned And Torn Asunder, Ascendancy, Gunshot, Like Light To The Flies, DIYA.
The Crusade: Ignition, Detonation, EOTC, Anthem(We Are The Fire), Unrepentant, To The Rats, Tread The Floods.
I'll post some pictures later..

nice review, even though i disagree on your statement on Annihilator. There performance couldnt have been better, if you only knew the words. All i know is that my throath and neck was done after their setlist. The sound could've sounded abit "thin", compared to Trivium, but fuck that. Atleast I was headbanging constantly troughout their whole set.
... Oh, and yeah. Both Sanctity and Trivium slayed!

Fuck yeah, my throat is damaged beyond repair! As for my neck.. I've been wearing a headrest for the last two days, now.
Seriously.

Yeah you guys up there were pretty crazy, but when i talked to Corey after the show it turns out they didn't even know that there was an age limit of eighteen on the main-floor, which resulted in the balcony beeing more packed than any other show on the tour, cause they would have all ages on the floor and pretty much only those who couldn't get floor tickets would be in the balcony area.
As for your review, I agree completely on the Trivium part, but I probably would have given Sanctity a 5/6 and Annihilator 4/6 Jeff Waters is simply amazing and some of their songs (namely Fun Palace and Alison Hell) seem quite catchy to me. Met Jeff in the deli around the corner after the show, he was buying ice cream and butter... , really nice guy though.
Oh and that Jackson gitar of Zeffs is sweet, talked a lot to the guys from sanctity before and after the show, even shared a cigg with Jeremy.
