Don't get me wrong, The Crusade is a great album, and I'm not here to yell at you that Ascendancy is far better, but I can't help but notice that the sound simply isn't as good as on Ascendancy. Like Ascendancy, it sounds like it was recorded with guitars costing ££££s, but The Crusade, it just seems to have a really dull sound to me. Does anybody know where I'm coming from? Anybody else agree in a decline in sound? |

I couldnt disagree more. I personally think the sound they have now (with the Deans) is fucking great. I for one love it..

No no, you have my comment all wrong. Thats just my oppinion.. They will probably be people on here who do agree with you about the sound.. To be honest though i like everything about the Dean's, the look, the sound, everything.. and most of all i think the guys do too. Just for the record, i fucking love the sound of Ember to Inferno and Ascendancy too

I like it, it suits the album, just like the ascendancy tone suits that album. |

I truthfully hate the Crusade sound. I love the Ascendency sound. Crusade sounds bland, with the exception of a few riffs(Secondary/Breakdown Riffs in Entrance). but Ascendency everything seems to flow just a lot better. |
