If you're in the UK, you might want to pick up one of the numbered 'First Day Cover' special slipcase versions of the new album when it is released on Oct 9th.
You can pre-order your copy from one of the participating stores to get an exclusive numbered 'First Day Cover' copy of 'The Crusade' on day of release. See list of stores & a pic of the slipcase at: http://www2.roadrunnerrecords.co.uk/index....=trivium_stores plus all branches of Townsend, Fopp, and Music Zone.
Once you have your CD, just register the individual number at the website on the cover and if you're one of the first 100 to do so, then you will get an exclusive Trivium 'The Crusade' promo flag signed by the band. Additionally, everyone who registers stands the chance of winning VIP tickets to see and meet the band on the Iron Maiden tour in the UK in December.

I'll ask about any extra places in Ireland. Otherwise - some of those stores are doing online sales for the first day cover - I know I've seen once place on eBay offering a presell of the first day cover version. Maybe buy that way and then you could still get it? I think they ship it so you still get it the day of release (and that still counts to the band's chart position etc that way too).
