Is this something to do with Islamic Honour killings?
When I was looking at the lyrics I was very much reminded of a story about some Islamic girl who was promised to some guy across the road (this was in "Palestine") and then she went across to his house one night and shagged him. The guy then went and told her father, who then ordered his sons to kill her. So one day when she was outside they crept up behind her and poured petrol over her then set her on fire.
She ran away and lived to tell the tale, but she wore a mask for the interviews she did with a French newspaper and changed her name because she didn't want her dad finding out she still lives. Quite a chilling tale.

Ah thanks. I was on the right lines at least. I never knew it was about a real life event, seeing as Honour Killings are accepted practice in Islamic culture so it'll have happened plenty of times.

I would say something about my opinion on honour killings.. but it's quite negative and might get this thread locked due to the fact that it might just lead to an anti-islamic debate....
But hey... when did that ever stop me?
Honour killings.. another thing fucked up about religion!
It's good though that the new lyrics talk about these sort of things. It's a serious issue. People killing their children because they think they are evil (Unrepentant and Entrance of the Conflagration) or homophobic murder (And Sadness Will Sear)
