September 16, 2009 1:55:59 AM UTC Post #1

Welp, my band, Thirteenth Order, played a show last night. We got a great crowd reaction. They weren't moving, but like loud applause and stuff. It was at a billiards and a lot of people that were just playing pool came over to check us out. I'm the lead guitarist (one with the les paul). You can't hear my solos too well in the videos, but if you crank up your volume and listen closely you can. 8) We're all 15 years old.
You can check out all the videos at once at our myspace, www.myspace.com/thirteenthorder. Or you can just click the links for the individual songs below.

well there good but they can defently be better, i was mainly talking about the backing on gunshot, he should scream like corey when he does the backing

QUOTE(Madden)Dude, maybe its just the video, but I could only just about hear your guitar on the Gunshot solo, your LP seemed to be being shouted over for certain parts of songs by the othe guitar. Your playing is solid though man.
Thanks man. With the volume, I think it might have been because dave's(the rhythm guitarist's) amp was facing straight towards the camera, and mine was kinda off in the other direction. Or maybe a misjudgment of volume on my part because I was standing right infront of my amp and I could hear it fine, but didn't consider the fact that it might have been simply because I was standing right infront of it.

The song iw as most interested in was Harvester of Sorrow. And so far its pretty good. The drumers solid as fuck. Some minor flubs it seems in the rythm. The singings fine for now. Don't push yourself to growl or scream too much before your voice breaks naturally (when your done your puberty) because you could fuck it up bad, so no, don't scream for now man. Its pointless for the damage it will do. The stage rpesence cuold do with some work, obviosuly. But for tha age you guys are well on your way. Keep playing shows!
And good job on the solo, for the most part. Its one of my favorite Hammett solos. Because its something different form his normal pentatnoic wank

Some awesome stuff there. Shame cameras can never pick up the sound in full, but you guys obviously have a whole bunch of talent.
