The ambiguity kills me.

It could have been shit loads of bands dude.. sorry. I have no idea. Oh and just for the record, i dont know who haste the days are.

Yea seriously... You're probably better off trying to track the guy down instead of attempting to describe it to us.

Haste the Day are a run-of-the-mill Post-Hardcore band.

"haste the day" were pretty alright with their old vocalist...their new album sucks

it was metalcore right? try Killswitch Engage's earlier material with their old singer...awesome screaming, or try "August Burns Red" theyre awesome!
check out "Destroy The Runner" as well....

I know nothing about Metalcore.. But yeah, check out Killswitch Engage's Alive or Just Breathing.. It probably wasn't that what you heard though. So yeah, maybe this post was pointless.

metalcore isnt as good as thrash obviously but some bands are really good....
check out this band "Blinded Colony" they have a new album out called "Bedtime Prayers" which is just awesome!

Early Metalcore (mid-80's, usually referred to as "crossover" nowadays) was a variant of Thrash.
