It really disapoints me that at the Sydney signing at Utopia on the 23rd of January 07 I said to Matt" Dude you fucking rule" and he turned his head from me and pretty much ignored what I said, comon dude what the hell is that, I will alwayse like trivium and see them when ever they come back to australia but just remember Matt if it wasn't for the fans you would still be 12 years old sitting in your room writing songs in drop d, all I have to say now is Corey (If you read this) you were the fuckgin MAN on that day guzzling down the VB.

Peace and lots of METAL \m/

Workin' the pimpin' skills

Yes, Kerry King is a prick, unless he's drunk.

Mmmm I hadn't thought of that, that was a lucky escape. I was only 17 at the time and probably would have been a nice snack, and more digestible than a big hairy metaller bloke!

Just be grateful King didn't eat you!
cute name btw

I've met Matt on a couple of occasions and both times he's being polite but really withdrawn like he doesn't want to be there. I think it is just an anxiety issue, and i'm sure that as the years go by he'll learn to deal with it better. I wouldn't take his reaction to you personally...hell I met Kerry King once at a meet and greet and he looked at me as if i'd come into his house on christmas day and pissed on his kids...i didn't take offence though as I know he's just a miserable bastard anyway, its his whole heavy metal star persona!

I had to work that day so I couldnt go but my brother went to get some stuff signed both of us. He said they looked tired and Travis was really the only one who seemed energetic and talkative...he was the only one who, he said, was easy to have a quick mini convo with. but the other guys looked buggered.

I can figure what it could have felt. Matt is one of my biggest idols and if he would do that to me... I know what it would feel like.

When you choose to be a traveling musician, you have no other choice but to live life in the fast lane.Matt probably didn't hear you man,he wouldn't purposely ignore you.
