IMO it takes away so much energy. They usually don't tune down lower then Eb. And thats mostly attritbuted to James' diminishing vocal range. MAny years of smoking and drinking have turned his vocal chords into rotting growths of flesh. Kind of like Axl Rose, jsut not as bad. I play in C. Thats standard, but all strings two steps down! Its a fun tunning. Then when we drop tune we're in Drop A#. Alot of my bands newer songs are in this tunning. Its bad ass, and thats fucking that. no fucking questions.
