Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the crusade would have to be the most technical song on the album.

It depends on what you mean by "technical".
I'm assuming you mean lots of various time changes, complicated riffs, and fast solos. In that case, The Crusade and Becoming the Dragon. Although I have a very different opinion of what "technical" music is and Trivium doesn't nearly come close to it.

I'd class technical as a band like Necrophagist or Decapitated.
But for your question on which song is the most technical, for me it's definitely The Crusade.

I think your missing the point somewhat of the thread with half your comment, look at the title of it again.

Well, I guess, but what I meant is that he probably thought of technicality in one way, but in my opinion, a more technical example from the Crusade would be something like the chords in the chorus of Ignition and the outro acoustic bit: they are not extremely complex, but they are the most interesting to listen to. I'm not trying to say that you guys don't have any technical skills, but in comparison to composers like Chopin, those Ignition chords probably sound as close to 'technical' as the Crusade gets. I probably should have worded my post differently.
