Whats The Most Technical Song On The Crusade
May 27, 2007 4:43:22 AM UTC Post #31

I would definetely say that it's the Crusade
I find that instrumentals that I listen to are normally more technical than normal songs

The Crusade obviously!

Instrumentals need to be more technical than full on songs, mainly because instrumentals can get horribly repetitive if there is no change of pace.
The Crusade is definitely the most technical song on the album, I find that Contempt Breeds Contamination is quite up there as well.

QUOTE(Psycho Therapy @ Dec 7 2006, 09:02 AM) It depends on what you mean by "technical".
I'm assuming you mean lots of various time changes, complicated riffs, and fast solos. In that case, The Crusade and Becoming the Dragon. Although I have a very different opinion of what "technical" music is and Trivium doesn't nearly come close to it.
What do u mean by that? I play guitar and i reckon they are technical. If triv doesnt come close to ur opinion, who does?

Tread the Floods is near enough to impossible to play so I'll go with that one

Alot of the song is quite easy but the hard parts really are hard lol. Just stick to learning it for like an hour and just glue your self to it.

I Can Play Tread The Floods
And Are You Supposed To Play The Main Lead Riff Downstroke?

QUOTE(Futures @ Dec 9 2006, 03:32 AM) I'm curious as to why you would enter a forum of discussion pertaining only to an album you don't like.
If you look at my registration date, you'll see i was here long before the release of the crusade.
I was actually here for ascendancy.
Whats up dustin?
Struggling to handle negataive opinions?
Oh noes.
Is that a cross between negative and naive?

QUOTE(Futures @ Dec 7 2006, 04:28 PM) Why would i want to listen to all of it?
It's obvious that they've got a completely new style, one that i don't like.. so there's no point me listening to the rest of it.
Happy now?
So I take it you like metalcore, but you DON'T like thrash metal. AMAZING!
How the...?
Metalcore is a derivative of thrash and hardcore, yet you don't like thrash.
Tell the truth, is it just because you don't get to hear your beloved Heafy scream!
Just give some reasons, I'm curious.
