Where My Bassists At?
March 25, 2010 5:30:18 PM UTC Post #1

I haven't seen any bass threads, and now I'm curious if there are any serious bass players on here. I realize Trivium isn't the most influential bass stuff ever (sorry Paolo lovers, but you know it's true, I still love the guy's playing though). So, what do you guys have, what do you play, and who do you like?

if you like victor, you should check out doug johns.

i can see that paolo is an awesome player, he just doesn't act on it too much, and i really hope he tears into it more on the new album.

here is what i am playing....

Well it looks like there is only 3 bassists on here

I have:
Ibanez ATK 700
Fender Mexican Precision Deluxe
Dunlop Cry Baby Bass Wah

I have a Peavey Max 115 as a kind of practice amp, but I need to get a proper amp (i.e. Head and Cab)

And listen to the Broken One intro (from the Anthem (we are the fire) single)

Favourite bassists are: Victor Wooten, Billy Sheehan and Steve Harris
