They were not exactly Nu Metal (quite goth if I do say so myself) but I do still appreciate the music of Evanescence as their music is quite good & they stayed rock even when there was the surge of Contempory Nu Metal. Rant made, I hate Nu Metal now, anyone with me on this.

I used to like many Nu metal bands, and then I realised how much of the dogs bollocks they actually were, they were just idolised because they were accepted at the time, I do not think Papa Roach would be really cool in this modern universe where R n B + other chavvy stuff and Indie just dominate the charts, I now finally realise what I have been missing as I have recently purchase Spit by Kittie [attachment=311:Kittie.jpg] and I love it, I just wish I had bothered with their music before then I would have never got into the mess that I did with Nu metal.
