Which Rush record was the hardest to get into...

And is now one of your favorite Rush records? I remember downloading 2112 almost a year ago. I listened to it about 3 times but I just never really seriously got into it and I thought it was too slow and boring (I like the band's newer stuff the most) and I didn't really care too much for for it at all. Then about 2 months ago I decided to give it another spin and holy fuck was it awesome
From the very beginning of the record's title track all the way to the very end I thought it was awesome and couldn't believe what I was missing out on!
I then went out and bought 6 more of Rush's eariler records shortly after that
Anyone care to share similar experiences with the various records Rush has released?

You know, I actually got the same experience with 2112. Only it wasn't as long as two months, more like two weeks.
At first I was like, "oh ok cool". But then after listening to it I thought it was really bad ass.
Personally my favorite Rush record is Hemispheres, this one took me from the first minute to the last.

This is a bit too specific to have its own thread isn't it?

I think it's his style Elliot.
