Tim Yeung.
Not only is he Divine Heresy's current drummer, he's been the drummer for bands such as Nile, Decrepit Birth and Hate Eternal.
The others aren't bad by any means, but Tim is my favourite of the three.

He has drummed for Vital Remains too!
They are all great drummers, with their own styles. My personal favourite out of the three would be Portnoy.

Tim Yeung was never in Nile, he only played live with Vital Remains and his work on Divine Heresy is really lame.
Chris Addler is really overrated, his work with Lamb Of God is good, but nothing extraordinary.
Mike Portnoy is a very good drummer, but Dream Theater bore meto death.
So my vote goes for Tim because ...And Time Begins is an amazing album.

I know Yeung was only a live drummer for Vital Remains, im not sure but I don't think he even played many shows with them.
Portnoy gets my vote. His drumming is more interesting to listen to than the others, for me anyway.

Portnoy is definately the more technical drummer, therefore the more listenable of the three. you could hear him go on with a drum solo and have it be fun to listen to as opposed to a speedfest.
also, what many are forgetting is that Portnoy can also blast beat like a motherfucker if he wanted to, but Dreamtheater doesn't call for such beats.

I don't think there are that many drummers that come close to Mike Portnoy.

I thought Tim did all of the drums on Dechristianize, and then played for them live for a short period afterward. He doesn't drum live for them anymore, though.

Dechristianize was definately Dave Suzuki, I just double checked in my booklet.

Alright ... I believe you. It just doesn't sound like his style. Sounds A LOT like something Tim would play.
