Why did Brent Young leave the band?

Anyone know? I have been wondering because I have never been able to find anything related to this and am intrigued really. Most things I have been able to find but there is nothing on this! Also any idea what he is doing these days?
On a side note I was at the Ft Lauderdale show on the 19th of Jan and was pleased that they played 3 tracks off ETI. Was surprised that most people didn't seem to recognise them though. They just sort of stared looking bewildered. Also not much Crusade which = good imho.

Gah, I'd possibly rape something to see 3 ETI tracks in one night. Lol.
He left the band to go to college I believe, architecture... Or CAD design or something. He was down visiting them in the studio when I was down there for the Crusade, him and Travis were hanging out and he's still good friends with the band.

Cool, thanks very much! He must be pretty bummed out that he left right before they became popular? Anyone else know any different reasons for his departure (or something similar?)

Nah he's doing great with what he's doing, and I doubt he regrets his decision. I'm pretty sure that's the only reason he left the band.

I think it would be cool if they played where he lived(Florida I assume?) and he joined them on-stage for maybe ETI or Fugue or something.

With regards to Mr. Young, his playing on ETI really blows me away. If I'm not mistaken, that is absolutely a pick-driven tone, which makes it all the more impressive. It's so aggressive: I totally dig it.

Brent quit the band to go to school right after signing with Roadrunner. He rent a room out of Travis' house and has his own remodeling business.
He is still in school and majoring in business.
And yes at times, when I've talked to him, he does miss being in Trivium and would like to one day start a band of his own.
Any ???s.
