QUOTE(Bloke)QUOTE(Ripper)QUOTE(PAOLO)Mix, mastered...done. Now we got the artwork being finished, photos, video, and a few month wait.
Why do they wait? Why not release it as soon as it's ready?
I concur.
October seems an age away, I've got nothing to listen to until then! I've exhausted Ember and Ascendancy! lol
You can't just release the album without a cd case an booklet, you can't just throw it to the fire and hope that it explodes, you have to do the proper advertising, hyping up, all that shit before the album hits streets. It seems odd to me that people don't realize when the music is ready to go, the album still can't be released yet.

Theres alot more to realising an album than the music, people don't see that, mainly because people dont get to experience it first hand.
You don't want a CD to come out looking tatty, especially if its the follow up to one of the albums of this decade.

Seems as if the promotional stuff is done, then they wait around for nothing.

Have you seen any pages in magazines with the cover of The Crusade on it saying "out blah blah blah get it right the fuck noW!!!" ?? There's promo shit to do, it's gotta be MASS produced and SHIPPED, they need to take pics for the promo stuff, they need to shoot a video for whichever song they choose as their first single. All sorts of stuff.
It isn't just making albums. It's marketing as well. Which is part of being signed to a major label.

Ah.. The band wouldn't lie to you. So they got the tracks mixed and shit, there's a LOT more work to do. I wish the cd would be out just as much as all of you, for the band and for the fans, and for the rest of the metal community. But they simply CAN'T rush this any faster than it's going. Everyone is working their asses off for The Crusade.
