I must be a bit late getting into them, but i've just picked up a copy of Wintersun and I cannot believe how awesome this album is. I like ensiferum enough and i've been a fan of Jari for a few years but this album has completely blown me away. Death And The Healing has to be one of the most epic metal songs ever written. Can't wait for the next album, Time to be released (if ever)

Yeah, I know we've probably had Wintersun threads in the past but I see no problem in keeping this one open. What with the long awaited release of Time on the horizon and all.

My friend told me about them a few months ago and I didnt check them out right away, then I got a myspace request from them like a week after that so I finally listened to them, and they are freakin awesome really good melodic death band.

I need to listen to Wintersun more.

Wintersun is an amazing album, favorite song is definatly Battle Against Time, the most epic vocals/riffs ever, pretty much a perfect song for me. And yeah, i also cant wait for Time, but im in no hurry, im sure the reason its taking so long is because Jari wants it to be released exactly how he wants, so im cool with that, id hate to have himrelease something thats not 100% just because the fans cantwait to hear it (eventhough a little sample or demo song wouldnt hurt ).

Battle Against Time has got to be one of my favourites too, I've always loved the lyrics to that one. And yeah, at least we know that Jari's perfectionist ways mean that when we eventually do get to hear Time, it will be another astounding piece of work.

Yeah, considering how long we've all been waiting for Time it's not much to ask to be patient for a little while longer..
