Special Guests on Iron Maiden's Final Frontier World Tour!
TRIVIUM is pleased to announce we will be special guests for Iron Maiden’s The Final Frontier World Tour in London at the O2 on Saturday 6th August.
The London show will be the culmination of Iron Maiden’s The Final Frontier World Tour. By the time The Final Frontier World Tour finishes in London at the O2 in early August, Maiden will have played 101 shows, in 40 countries, to over 2 million fans since the Tour began in June 2010. Amazing.
Says Matt Heafy, “We couldn’t be more honoured and excited to share a stage with the legendary Iron Maiden. This will be Trivium’s first UK show in a long time & we’ll have a new record under our belts to debut. Lights Out London for an immense night of metal. Up The Irons.”
Tickets for the show are on sale now and are available from www.livenation.co.uk
*** Please note that Trivium WILL NOT be playing Mayhem Festival dates on Friday August 5th, Saturday August 6th & Sunday August 7th***
Trivium at Mayhem 2011!!!
Mayhem 2011 without a doubt in my mind has one of the best line-ups to date. Previous Mayhem festivals had great line ups, but this year feels like it has the best of the best. 3 of heavy metal's most important bands: Machine Head, In Flames, and Megadeth; 2 of the biggest and most successful modern rock bands: Disturbed and Godsmack; and the rest of the bill featuring a fantastic collection of heavy music's most promising up and coming artists.
Don't miss Mayhem this year, and be sure to make it a point to catch every single band's performance; tours with this many fantastic bands all in one line-up are few and far between.

Trivium: In the Studio
The metalcore monsters return to a simpler approach on their upcoming record.
For their forthcoming fourth studio album, Trivium will move forward by looking back. The group will forego the complex epic compositions, tricked-out leads and seven-string guitars that characterized its past two albums and take an approach similar to that of its second album, 2005’s Ascendancy, by using uncluttered riffs, drop-D tuning and more straightforward solos.
