I'm gettting a new head for Christmas and I'm still unsure on what i want. Basically I want something thats awesome for metal, shit ton of gain, versatile and can pull plenty of midrange sounds off as well as other stuff and preferably no more than £700 quid. So far I've been contemplating a 6505 but I'm not sure if it can get enough gain and midrange and I'd just like to look at some other amps.
So can anyone help me out here? Recommendations?

Ah well, meet and greet will make up for it

So it seems I'm left in the worst situation possible. My favorite band are coming to town and I dn't have tickets. Cause of MEN getting downgraded to the Apollo theres been a massive screw up and my tickets have been cancelled amd I have to get a refund. Theres no way of buying them onlnine, the only way is to go to the venue on the 27th and try and que to get tickets, whihc is a major problem. One because I can't drive and two because I'll be at school that day.
