Who would play the 24th fret of the low B lol. And the reason the songs sound so heavy is because of the low perfect 4th between the B and the E, its that interval which gives the 7th strings their grunt.
And if he starts playing a 24 fret LP with a floyd rose im gonna set fire to my head cause that would look so shit.
