  It's definitely the pick-ups. I have a razorback explosion. It is amazing, I didn't have my distortion pedal for a few weeks right when i got it. I had to use my crate FXT65's distortion, it was amazing. Does matt use the OD-9 or OD-808? Reading the descriptions I was thinking that the OD-808 was not a pedal for this type of music.
