I was over at the Chimaira board, and saw this thread someone posted:

Not sure who originally said this, but a friend of mine mentioned it over AIM:
Trivium are about as false as you can possibly get. The band I travelled with for a week's worth of dates on the Sounds of the Underground Tour had to share a dressing room with the whiz kidz and they were f***ing lame. They're not Rock. PERIOD.
The bass player has that Motörhead backpatch going now (on his onstage denim vest), right? Well on the Sounds of the Underground Tour, he was sporting a Destruction backpatch.
Phil Demmel (ex Vio-Lence, current Machine Head) called him out on it... Phil told him to name one Destruction song. Of course the kid couldn't...a day later the Motörhead patch had replaced Destruction.
Not sure I necessarily believe this, as I highly doubt someone would get a Destruction patch without knowing a single song by the band. Plus, Destruction aren't really a band where you wear merchandise of theirs in order to "look cool" (Iron Maiden or Judas Priest seems to be a band more people would do that with). Anyways, not trying to start controversy, but I was wondering if A) Someone here can confirm or deny the story; and/or

People wanted to give their two cents on this thing.
