I just got the Album in today and I absolutely love it. However, I'm not to happy with the shirt, the quality is pretty deplorable and it's a little embarassing because it looks cheap. I'm not sure, maybe it'll look better once I put it though the wash or something....however, it just doesn't look that great in comparison to the other Trivium shirts I own. I however really want the Zip-up Flames hoddie, the Seagrave Tee, and the Becoming the Dragon Tee....however, I'm not sure when they are going to show up in the merch section. Hopefully soon!
Nothing against you Bravado, I just kinda wish I could have gotten another shirt......it doesn't look that badass in person.
It seems like The Crusade has a whole different feeling of energy to it. I do admit...I kinda miss the screaming a little bit.....it added a whole new dimension to many song, for example, the screaming in Rain really enhanced the feelings of boredom and misanthropy. While I don't get the same feeling while listening to the Crusade....I get another kinda feeling. Instead of me wanting to headbang....I wanna put my devilfinger up and rock out....(I love to pretend I'm playing the guitars...LMFAO). I keep switching between albums....when I get into the mood for screaming Trivium....I got to Ember to Inferno and Ascendancy....when I'm in the mood for a cleaner, more solid composure (which lacks the screaming).....I choose The Crusade.
Both on Ember to Inferno and Ascendancy....the clean bits sound pretty damn good considering Heafy said "he couldn't sing" back in those days. I was wondering if the studio patched up his vocals to make it sound like that...or if he was always that talented. I admit, Heafy has come a long way with The Crusade.....his voice has improved sevenfold. And if they did dub his voice on those albums.....how bad did Heafy sound. I have heard some live singing and I do admit......they sucked during Ascendancy....but I thought may it was because Heafy's voice was getting sore for being on tour. Thanks!
I don't know....I definitely like what the U.K. has to offer much more than what's in the U.S.. The Shirts look so much better than ours in my opinion...I wish they would make some of those shirts available for sale in the U.S.! :)
