Thus far, we had a 24 hour download of Kirsute Gomen, an iTunes release of Into The Mouth Of Hell We March, and then the release of Down From The Sky- so does anyone have a clue as to what song is next to be released and when? Thus far, Metallica have released 4 songs off their new album Death Magnetic- The Day That Never Comes, Cyanide, My Apocalypse, and The Judas Kiss. I wonder if we can expect the same from Trivium.
I guess that hardcore metal fans may not be pleased here, but my band THIS IS MY FAILURE are working on recording some demos to help get our name out, so maybe we can find some other musicians- so go to www.myspace.com/failingthismusic and lemme know either there or here what you think of our song Frail- its still a WIP, but I think its just sick in the tone- it was all done on a Sony Viao laptop and was produced by a friend of mine.
I have been looking at several vocal processors to get a really mechanical, robotic sounding voice, really growling like the vocals in Nine Inch Nails or Ministry. I have looked at several processors online and I'm wanting to spend somewhere in the range of 500 dollars. What do you recommend I try? - Please include link to actual product if possible.
Okay, first off, I'm about to get some new gear- first up is a Vox Valvetronix 50 watt amp, second would be the Epiphone Les Paul Prophecy EX (The model with EMGs, not Dirty Fingers). I'm not familiar with EMGs and a friend of mine who plays and does his own recordings told me that they were just garbage- which is hard to believe when you consider who plays them. I hate that I can't hear the amp with the guitar before I buy them ... because the store I'm buying the amp from doesn't carry Epiphone and I'll have to order the Les Paul from Musician's Friend. What should I do?
Is an inmate at the prison I work at.
Just found out today ... well, I had to do some investigating into this Frank guy who claimed his band opened for Machine Head and was signed to Roadrunner Records ... I was like, bullshit, but hey ... FUCKING-A ... it was NO bullshit.
I mean, he's no celebrity, but its just fucking sweet to get to meet someone associated with the pioneering of Groove Metal.
