anybody know when it comes out?
Ok so like many Trivium fans I'm big on Ascendancy, but when I listen to The Crusade all it does is make me laugh.. Like for example the breakdown on Becoming the Dragon right after Matt sings 'Dragon' I find that part hellarious and don't understand how anyone can take it seriously (I imagine Matt replacing the guitar going, BIDE E BIDE, BIDE E BIDE....).. I sit and laugh at the album.. and Matt's vocals, they annoyed the hell out of me at first, but like, for example, in To The Rats, his vocals in verse just sounds funny. And in Ignition, the intro, I just can't stop laughing at it, or take it seriously, and once I was sat with one of my buddies (whilst drunk) doing it as if it was Matt's vocals just singing the intro to Ignition (NER NER NER NEER NEER NER).
So yeah, I just laugh at this album.
Look if all you're going to say is 'If you don't like the album don't listen to it', or 'lock this thread' or 'why are you here' etc..
then please don't bother.
I am on here because I like Ascendancy, and I listen to The Crusade for comedy.
DO THE BAND INTENT TO RELEASE A DVD AT SOME POINT
Does anyone know if any of the members have taken drugs? I know Travis has, as I have spoken to someone who went on the tour bus in 2005 and he saw something...
Don't get me wrong, The Crusade is a great album, and I'm not here to yell at you that Ascendancy is far better, but I can't help but notice that the sound simply isn't as good as on Ascendancy. Like Ascendancy, it sounds like it was recorded with guitars costing ££££s, but The Crusade, it just seems to have a really dull sound to me. Does anybody know where I'm coming from? Anybody else agree in a decline in sound?
