hey guys, my band carrion ash was succesful in being chosen for this years youthrock competion, over 400 bands sent auditions this year and we were lucky enough to be one of twenty- odd bands chosen to play at this years youthrock.
for the guys that havnt heard of youthrock this is a bit about it
YouthRock 2008 will be held from 16-20 April at the Sutherland Entertainment Centre.
The now famous Australian group 'Silverchair' was a past YouthRock winner. Other artists include Alex Lloyd (ex Balmain High), Quirk (Moruya High) recently chosen to support the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Sony Stevanovic (Belmore Boys High) now playing lead guitar for Enrique Iglesias.
And YouthRock continues to identify and promote emerging amateur rock bands.
well to my point about this post if anyone has the time to vote for my band as a wildcard, incase we dont make the finals it would be very very much appreciated
