oh and from my experience i HATED London. there are far better places in the UK than London. there are some great places in the north of england and wales. Liverpool and Manchester are good for nights out and if youre into your history. the lake district is good for cycling and hiking as is North Wales.
I have to be honest...I just want to go to the Ripley's believe it or not museum haha. I could do that here in America though. Ive heard from a few people now against London (hence my original plan to only be there a day) So maybe Ill bypass it all together. I forgot about Manchester, as a futbol player/fan that might honestly be a mandatory stop. Ill look into the Lake district :)
@trivnut: I would love to go for much longer. Unless I can find a good study abroad program for the summer though I simply cant afford it. Im having to save 45$/week from here till May/June just to barely afford 1 week and I only have a 3 week break between Spring semester and Summer classes.
