  I think as a whole Shogun is a more complete and stronger album. I will admit it took a bit longer to fully appreciate the album, but once you listen to it enough it will click, and you'll realise how special it is.
  
  The Crusade had some really strong songs, and some really (what felt like) weak cliche type metal songs. Still good for a listen, but easily forgotten...
