Lol, I spend most of my time on YouTube sinking to the Haters' level and just trolling them on Trivium videos just to give them a taste of their own medicine. I agree that Trivium provokes thought with their music, and that makes them unique. People complain about the ever-changing Trivium sound and fail to realise that if they sounded the same on every album, that would be even worse. Leaving listeners to derive their own meanings is definitely important... I'm glad somebody else understood the importance of not having bands spoon-feed listeners. I think the best elements that we take away from music are those we identify ourselves (regardless of their accuracy).
Admittedly, I miss the slower and more melodic choruses of the Ascendancy album, but I love their more recent works nonetheless. The changing sound and lyrical themes makes this band easy to follow as a fan in my opinion. Change is good, lol. Keep it up Trivium!
