  Hmmm playing fast.....
  it took me like a month or two to start to play fast but the way to play fast is it keep practicing a lot on the same verse or song.... then every time you get pretty good at the speed your already playing at, then increase your speed Doods..
  I started listening to trivium in early 2009 and started actually learning their songs in early 2010.......
  
  Songs i can play pretty well so far are:
  Entrance of the Conflagration
  Pillars Of Serpents
  Like Callisto In a Start In Heaven
  Part of their version of Master of puppets...
  Pull Harder on The Strings of your Martyr
  End of Everything
  Dying in Your Arms
  And Sadness Will Sear
  im not to good on the solos
  Songs Im working on:
  to the rats
  Of Prometheus and The Crucifix
  Becoming the Dragon
  When all Light Dies
  
  I started playing guitar in the middle of 2009 ...
  I practice hard every day.... Lols I sweat sometimes....
