He paid for it, he can do whatever he pleases.
Although! It does irritate me.

Ever since I first joined Trivium World it was for one thing, the M&G's! I loved having the title as a Hard Core Trivium fan for being here on Trivium World. Ever since the update it has changed. The features we WERE supposed to have was a M&G for TW members. This tour we HAD to pay for it. Now I can understand that Trivium is trying to get more popular and more money for the studio next year but this is inexcusable. I paid to be in TW to get a M&G and selling them off to fans at shows is just ridiculous. Yes you heard right. People at the venue are selling the VIP passes for 40$ a pop. Now think about when we actually had a title, an excuse or a brag to say "We're in TriviumWorld" now it doesn't feel so special does it? I still remember being able to brag at shows and tell people about the awesome features like meeting the band to the people around me urging them to join up with TW. The first half of the tour is over and there has yet to be any usual features that us as TW is supposed to have. I've even messaged Luke about the issue as he diverted me into a direction by emailing a gmail account with avail I didn't get my M&G. The show was yesterday and as always it is great to see Trivium, but a majority of the people in the front row were holding those "VIP" passes to see Trivium which I felt like I have been ripped off due to WE'RE supposed to get first dibs, yet now it feels like we're waiting for them to earn the money before even giving us TWers the M&G's that we paid for as a TW member. Don't get me wrong or anything, I have enjoyed the exclusive content around the site such as blogs, videos, music, and etc, but a lot of this isn't the reason I joined TW. Its awesome features, but its not the main reason I joined TW. I'm sure all of you can speak for me that meeting the band in person is probably the best thing you could get with TW.
I really hope you all understand my rant and is not towards anybody or the band itself.
I need your guys help in me deciding something. Well my phone I have now is broken, and I don't get a upgrade until March 2010. I have the option to upgrade it THIS MONTH ONLY as a special promotion but still have to sign another two year contract. If I wait until March 2010 I get a 100$ pay off my next new phone. I can either get a new phone this month and extend my contract for two years or wait until March 2010 for a new phone (Which is a good 7 months), get a 100$ off, and stick with the broken phone. The phone I have now the "Ok" button and the "* 0 #" buttons don't work. The only way to unlock my phone from the front to press the "OK" button or open the phone and dial the numbers from my text pad. Every time I need to call someone I have to open my phone and dial it with my text pad. Or I can get it fixed for 50$. Any suggestions?
Basically to cut it short.
Upgrade Now: New Phone, 2 year contract renewal, Lose 100$ towards new phone
Upgrade Later: Phone that doesn't work, wait another seven months, and get 100$ towards a new phone.
Or: Fix for 50$ In which it might happen again due to a frequent problem with the phone model.
The presale for the US tour goes up today and I saw that we have a new VIP option which includes.
said:FYI: Trivium have come up with a brilliant way to allow their live show be something that the fans are able to enjoy repeatedly. This tour will feature a special promotion, where at participating venues, each ticket
buyer will be able to re-live their experience at the show, as they will have the option to use their ticket stub, via a unique code, to redeem a free, full digital soundboard recording of the Trivium show that they attended. Fans will be able to use the bar code number on their ticket
as their unique code to redeem their music at www.trivium.org
In addition to the regular presale ticket, Trivium is offering their fans a very special VIP package offer for an additional $60.00 which includes:
- 1 1-year membership renewal in the Trivium Fan Club
- 1 Meet & Greet with Trivium
- 1 Limited Edition Hand-Signed Trivium Poster
- 1 Trivium Fan Club VIP Laminate
- 2 Live Show Downloads - in addition to the one you are receiving with your ticket **Participating Markets Only**
The question is, do we still get the normal TriviumWorld M&G pass or do we have to purchase this "VIP Pass" deal. Also I'd like to know since we are TW members do we get the Live Show Recording of the show we went to or do we have to purchase VIP. 60$ for the VIP is pretty darn expensive if you ask me. I'd still pay it, but it would drop my bank a bit :D.
Wouldn't it be sweet to have a "ohhhh" chant at the end of When All Light Dies outro that keeps up with the notes like Fear of the Dark by Iron Maiden?
